ABOUT ARTIST

My name's Vladimir Chursin.

I live and work in Kharkov (Ukraine).

When I was in school I took an interest in technics and this world of artists and musicians was completely far from me.

I entered Kharkov Institute of Radio Electronics (KIRE) in 1979. After finishing course of the institute I went to work and was engaged to development of radio-electronic circuits. The first metamorphosis happened in 1996. I have wanted to paint.

I started to draw in water-color and pencil.

Then I graduated from Popular University of Kharkov State Academy of Design and Arts with degree of an artist.

And now almost all of my art works are in oil.

I took part in collective art exhibitions in Kharkov.

Personal exhibition was made at Maestro gallery (Kharkov) from January 30th to February 12th, 2007.

The second metamorphosis. After half a year of painting I had the sensation of ability for writing music.

Just a wish of playing will take me nowhere, but creation of music...

I played the piano in childhood without great wish.

Those musical compositions didn't like me and I said after finishing school: "Never!" (remember "Never say never again")

So I've got two music albums so far.

Is that all? No. Evolution is permanent state, if not, life forces.
